LV MURAKAMI - MV
Takashi Murakami × Louis Vuitton
In 2025, Takashi Murakami and Louis Vuitton reunited for their first collaboration in roughly 20 years. To mark the occasion, MNNK Bro., Murakami’s collaborative unit with JP THE WAVY, released the track “LV MURAKAMI.” We joined the production of its music video.

Meeting BRTHR
Our involvement in the project began with meeting BRTHR, the New York–based directing duo known for their work with artists including Travis Scott and The Weeknd. Soon after we met, the collaboration came together, bringing us into a production involving creators from around the world.

Our Part
We were involved from the shoot itself, beginning with 3D scans of Takashi Murakami and JP THE WAVY. Afterward, we were given access to all of the footage and took charge of editing the live-action sections. Most of the material was shot on a chroma key stage, but the raw footage already had a strong sense of energy and movement. We built the edit around that momentum, preserving the dynamism of the performances. We also created the VFX for the sequence featuring JP THE WAVY riding through the city in a taxi. Tokyo Tower appears in the background before rotating and transforming into the Eiffel Tower, creating a playful sense of movement between cities and cultures. We layered in manga-inspired expressions of speed and motion, along with Takashi Murakami’s signature flower motifs, bringing an additional sense of playfulness to the sequence.
